Leadership

I was first introduced to NAAAP-San Francisco Bay Area through volunteering at its first leadership conference. It was really inspiring to see how Asian Americans overcame professional challenges and struggles. Seeing how other members of my community overcome unique professional challenges and struggles inspired me in my own life. I hope NAAAP can continue to be a space that supports growth, leadership, and the community through our programming and events.

Hayley first learned about NAAAP through a former officer and attended a few networking events. She wanted to get more involved with NAAAP because the organization offers a unique combination of opportunities for leadership development, professional growth, and community involvement. She hopes to continue growing NAAAP’s role in empowering and serving the Asian American community of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Hayley studied urban planning at UC Berkeley, where she also served as philanthropy chair for her sorority. She currently works for a real estate consulting firm in San Francisco.

I am part of the Membership Committee of NAAAP SF. Prior to joining the team, I have been a NAAAP member for quite some time which I enjoyed a lot going to their events. Through my experience, I have learned a lot more about NAAAP and realized this is more than a social organization. It is something bigger. It is about nurturing professionals in ways that allow the professionals to give back to the community at the same time. Come by and say hi when you see me at the event. I’ll promise I won’t over convince you to join!
