SUMMARY:Care for a Drink? Presented by AADP and DFAC
DESCRIPTION:Join Asian American Donor Program (AADP)\, Drink for a Cause\,Taiwanese American Professionals – San Francisco Chapter (TAP-SF)\, and ABL-SF (Asian Business League of San Francisco) for a happy hour networking event on Friday\, February 19 at The Grand San Francisco. Network and mingle with young professionals. \nDonations will be collected at the door. This event is 21+ \n\nYour contributions will assist AADP with covering the cost of registering new bone marrow donors into the Be The Match Registry. You can help fund the cause so that more people can register as a donor and potentially help save a life \nAADP’s goal is to give the chance to register everyone who is able and willing– especially in the minority community. It costs $100 in testing lab fees and admin costs to enter one donor into the Be the Match Registry bone marrow/stem cell. This cost is now paid for by a combination of donations from the community and a grant from HRSA. However\, these funds are not inexhaustible. We need more help from the community and individuals like you to continue to make donor registration accessible to everyone. \nFor any questions\, email ruby@aadp.org or call 510-568-3700. \nTICKETS \nRSVP to the Facebook Event:\n$5 min for “Going” responses by NOON\, Friday\, Feb 19.\n$10 min for “Interested” & everyone else.
